Brittany Rigoli is a NYS licensed clinical social worker. She graduated with a Master of Social Work degree from Binghamton University and has a BA in Psychology from Ithaca College. She completed several internships prior to obtaining her license. She was a teaching assistant at Ithaca College for three years and was Outreach Program Coordinator at Binghamton University’s Counseling Center.
Brittany strives to help people of all ages, from all different backgrounds. She is known for providing honest, caring, patient, devoted, and open minded care as a social worker in the area of psychotherapy. Her appreciation of humor and laughter is also a well-known quality.
Brittany has served both individual and families in community clinics, hospitals, and schools-all within the Southern Tier areas of Broome, Chenango, and Tioga County.
Brittany is experienced in severe and persistent mental illness, crisis intervention, trauma, crime victim support, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, thought disorders, adjustment disorders, and grief/bereavement. She is skilled in modalities including, but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, positive therapy, interpersonal therapy, family systems therapy, spiritual therapy, and psychoanalytic therapy.
Brittany utilizes an eclectic approach to her work. She places emphasis on the person and helping them to identify and build upon their strengths, regardless of specific approaches involved. This allows her to identify – through ongoing assessment and exploration with the client – the best evidence-based techniques and tools for her clients to reach their highest potential.
Danielle Zelsnack is a NYS licensed clinical social worker. She graduated with a B.A. in Criminology from SUNY Cortland and later obtained a Master of Social Work degree from Binghamton University. Danielle has interned at Crime Victims Assistance Center, Whitney Point Schools, and the Addiction Center of Broome County. She also worked abroad to assist with programming in the Young Women's Initiative at Malawi Children's Mission. Danielle has work experience as an outpatient rehab clinician and clinic supervisor in the substance use disorder treatment field.
Danielle has experience working with clients who experience substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, complex traumas, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, bereavement, and family stressors. She serves adolescents, adults, and older adults. Danielle strives to tailor sessions to best meet an individual's unique needs utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy.
Trauma-informed care and creating a safe space are a priority. Danielle has special training in 3 evidence-based practices that are trauma-specific. Using these techniques, clients can begin to heal from their experiences, improve self-esteem, and feel empowered in who they are. Danielle's greatest joy is seeing the healing process unfold and she would be honored to go on this journey with you.
Joanna is a New York State licensed clinical social worker. She was born and raised in Binghamton, NY, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special and Elementary Education from SUNY Plattsburgh and started her career as a teacher. After teaching a few years, she moved to Syracuse, NY to pursue work with adults with ASD, developmental and physical disabilities. This led to her career change and she graduated from Syracuse University with her MSW in 2008. Her first ten years as a clinical social worker she provided evaluations, individual and group therapy to children/youth ages 4-18 in an outpatient mental health clinic in Syracuse.
Joanna received training in evidence based treatment for a variety of childhood disorders including ADHD, anxiety disorders, trauma, and disruptive behavior. She has completed training in trauma-focused CBT for children and strongly utilizes Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) in her practice. She was a Syracuse University MSW field supervisor for many years and also contracts with agencies and universities to train and teach social workers and educators on topics related to mental health and disability. Since returning to the area, she works providing therapy to youth and adults in the integrated behavioral health model, with a focus on short-term interventions.
Joanna will be practicing on a part-time basis at Oakdale Psychology Associates and will be accepting children and adults for individual therapy, and she hopes to start groups in the future. She encourages humor, working to find balance, and spending time outside every day.
Bobbie is a NYS licensed clinical social worker. She completed her Bachelors in Human Development from Binghamton University (BU) in 2000. She has worked as an Early Intervention service coordinator and care manager at Broome Country Department of Social Services, Jail and Health Departments. After raising her children, Bobbie returned to BU to pursue her MSW.
Bobbie treats individuals and couples, adults and children 6+. She is skilled in helping with issues such as: anxiety, depression, chronic pain, relationship issues, parenting, parent-child relational issues, ADHD, ASD, grief, identity, personality disorders and addiction.
Bobbie enjoys helping people to be empowered to change things in their life that are making them feel stuck by tuning in, actively listening, validating and then providing empirical approaches. She begins all treatment with Mindfulness grounding and then utilizes an eclectic approach matching individuals needs. Her practice us trauma-informed, using: CBT, DBT, EMDR, MI, SFBT, Safe & Sound Protocol and Gottman Method for couples.
In addition to providing clinical counseling at Oakdale Psychology Associates, Bobbie works as an adjunct field liasion and clinical supervisor for Binghamton University CCPA, Department of Social Work, supervising/supporting Bachelor and Master level students.
